Holiday HF - Church Stretton Monday 13th - Friday 17th October 2025

Hello All

I am in the process of booking next years group holiday in October to Long Mynd in Church Stretton in Shropshire.

The group have not visited this house since 2013 and it would be interesting to see the £4 million  improvements that have been spent on it.

Church Stretton is classified as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Carding Mill Valley and The Long Mynd itself offer beautiful walks on the doorstep.
For those not wanting to do long walks there are the lovely National Trust properties at Attingham Park and Benthall Hall. There is the lovely town of Shrewsbury to explore as well as Telford and the Ironbrige Gorge, Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth.

The cost of the 4 night stay (Monday- Friday) for DB &B and packed lunch is £475 per person.
HF holidays are currently holding 6 single rooms and 6 double/twin rooms for us and we have two weeks to book and confirm.

Please could you let me know if you would like to go and send a deposit of £50 to David or by BACS to the walking group account. Your deposit will be refundable only if someone else can take your place,  if you are unable to go.
